Buyer plans renovation to maintain Hampton Inn by Hilton flag; Alchemy represented an institutional seller.
Alchemy Real Estate Advisors (“Alchemy”) is pleased to announce the sale and closing of the 86-room Hampton Inn East Lansing, Michigan. Alchemy represented an institutional seller in the transaction. The buyer is a prominent regional developer/owner who intends to complete a comprehensive renovation to maintain the Hampton Inn by Hilton franchise.
The hotel is located in a high-demand corridor of Greater Lansing and benefits from proximity to Michigan State University, the State Capitol and government offices, leading healthcare systems, and a diverse base of corporate, education, and sports travel. These demand drivers underpin strong year-round lodging fundamentals and long-term brand relevance for the asset.
“This was a competitive process given the deal profile—a top select-service brand, institutional ownership, and a compelling East Lansing location,” said Brent Clemens, who led the assignment for Alchemy Real Estate Advisors. “Our extensive work in Michigan enabled us to curate a deep buyer pool quickly and deliver a great outcome for our client.”
